I drew this during a really psuedo-emotional period, during skewl last week. I tried to convey someone showing resentment with bleak hope for whatever. lemme know what ya think

I like it. I think it shows what you were trying to convey. The shading is very cool, very mysterious and even somewhat depressing. Good job!

Amazing show of emotion! The contrast between your shadows and lights really serves to convey a dark and heavy feeling about the picture.
The girl is also very well done - she looks so sad, poor thing.
